Independent Diplomat offers a range of diplomatic advisory services including:

• Scoping clients' diplomatic situations.
• Advice on and assistance with diplomatic strategy and technique.
• Advice on all aspects of negotiation.
• Advice on media strategy.
• Services may include, when appropriate, assistance with the preparation of speeches, press articles or public presentations.

Our principal mode of operation is confidential advice to clients. ID may also offer advice on legal matters from experienced international lawyers.

ID is not a lobbying organisation. Its mode of operation is similar (but not identical) to that of a lawyer representing and advising a client – private advice for the client alone, but within a clear legal and ethical framework.

Funding

Independent Diplomat is supported by a combination of donor contributions and client fees. 

Independent Diplomat will not accept funding from any source which may compromise its impartiality, ethics and ability to offer neutral and independent assistance to its clients.
